Here's a new design I did for a simple profile F-14 with swing wings. The idea was to come up with a relatively simple swing-wing design that looked as close to scale as possible without the need for sanding or laser-cut wood parts. Everything is made from 6mm Depron except for a few pieces of 1/16 ply which are used for the control horns and motor mount and a few pieces of .035x.236 carbon strip for the spars. I cut and built mine in one evening and was flying the next day.
2212-06 Outrunner | 30Amp ESC | 3s 2100mah Lipo | 6 x 4 Prop | 2 HS-55 Servos plus 1 HS-65 Metal Gear or similar for the wing sweep.
CG is right at the Carbon center section stiffener.
