![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Discreetfire's Pimp My Ride F-14 Pilot's Detail Note From Steve Shumate: Although I have been very happy to freely distribute the plans and build manuals for all my previous park jet designs, the F-14 required so much more work to develop that I decided it would be nice to make a little something back for all the time and effort I put into it. I did not want to simply sell the plans, since I thought that would severely limit how widely the plans would be shared. So I decided to go with the voluntary contribution route. You may download, print, use, and share these plans as you like, however, if you enjoy them please consider sending a small contribution to the designer to show your appreciation for all the work that went into developing them. The suggested contribution is $10, and can be sent via PayPal to jetset44@verizon.net. Thanks for your support! |

| F-14 Canopy
Fabrication Video's By Discreetfire I posted a couple of videos in the steps I'll take to make the canopy cill. Video 1 Video 2 Video 3 Video 4 Video 5 Video 6 Video 7 See A Masterpiece Being Created Build Log - A "Pimp My Ride" Shumate/6mmFlyRC F-14 If you're looking for high speed, here's a great setup: Himax 2025-5300, 2100 mAh 11.1 V lipo, APC 7x6 prop, 25 amp ESC. This setup will pull about 20 amps and should provide a top speed of nearly 70 mph. That's quite a bit faster than the 50-55 mph you get with my usual park jet setup (Himax 2015-4100, 4.4 gearing, APC 9x7.5 prop), at the expense of about 3 oz more weight. |
