DESIGNER NOTES

The intriguing history of this bird, along with its gorgeous shape, coupled with the innovation really captured my imagination.

This project was originally sparked by a conversation with my good friend John Woodfield, who challenged me to ‘design a racing plane’. After much deliberation about what to design, I decided to re-invent the P100 in Depron.

Recently this 1939 marvel, had a replica made of it  http://bugatti100p.aero/
Using pretty much a standard parkjet powertrain it offers a missile like speed, and smooth handling.  Not for the feint hearted!

Not a simple build, but a very rewarding plane to fly.  Uses a standard parkjet powertrain setup.

SUGGESTED SET UP

Motor: 2212-6 2200 kv | Battery: 3s 30c 2200mah | 40 AMP ESC | Prop: 6x4

SPECIFICATIONS

Wingspan: 800mm | Length: 740mm
